Missing NTLDR error after Vista setup

I need some help here to dual boot my system. I have installed Windows XP at one end and Windows Vista on the other. When I restarted the system after setup was over I got a error message on the screen saying that ntldr is missing. It does not goes back properly on Vista screen. Nothing happens. I need some help here to restore Windows XP back again.

Go in bios and change the hard drive priority. At the time of Vista installation we usually put the CD/DVD as the first boot device. Change that to the hard drive you have and reboot your system. If this does not work, then boot again with Windows Vista drive. And then choose repair. From there select Startup Repair. It will look for the installed OS in your system and fix the bootloader.

Can you boot from Vista installation disc. Actually your mbr is gone. Due to which you are getting that error. There are two ways to fix that. First either try to rebuild your bootloader by startup repair and if that does not work then you have to format your system and install Vista from scratch.
