reboot loop on crcdisk.sys after bios upgrade

I have a desktop computer running with Asus P5B-E motherboard with Windows Vista Ultimate. It was running fine until I updated the BIOS. Day before yesterday I updated the bios and since then my Vista gets stuck in reboot loop. Tried restarting several times but every time the same result.

Hence I booted into Safe Mode and came to know that last driver it is attempting to load before the reboot is crcdisk.sys. As I dint knew what to do, I simply flashed the BIOS and updated it again but again stuck in the crcdisk.sys reboot loop.

Can anyone help me out here? What can I do to fix this? Please help.

RE: reboot loop on crcdisk.sys after bios upgrade

First of all I would like to know if your BIOS has the “legacy USB” option? If yes, and if it is enabled, just DISABLE it. Most of the times BIOS and operating system gets conflict in attempt of trying to control the same thing and you may get such problems while booting the system.
