    0xc00000e9 help!!!

Okay so about a week ago my laptop was acting strange so I restart it and it doesn't want to start up and it just keeps trying to repair the startup. This then stopped, for the next couple of days all it was doing was going past the BIOS then a black screen with a blinking cursor would appear and it would never boot. My brother bought the recovery Cd for my Asus notebook, Im pretty much sure that it came with Vista preinstalled on it so I dont have a vista CD, I tried the recovery Cd. Now everytime i restart it it gives me options for safe mode etc I have picked them all and it loads fr a bit then the screen goes to a page with text saying reinstall windows and the registry is corrupt.

    File: \windows\system32\config\system

    Status: 0xc00000e9

Info: Windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing, or corrupt.

Now I cant get into any of the safe modes at all and I dont have a vista CD as it was preinstalled.

    Help please?

I have a Asus notebook ( dunno what series)
    1.73 ghz
    2gig RAM
windows vista home premuim (i think)

I only have the recovery CD and another Cd that has drivers on it.

If you have DATA that has to be saved, take it to a Computer Technician, and
ask him to recover it using Knoppix live CD.

Then set your BIOS to boot from the DVD/CD drive 1st, insert the Asus
recovery disk, reboot, reinstall vista so your computer is back to factory
    standards.
Also, reinstall the motherboard Drivers disk that came with it.

I've done the recovery like 3 times, after each succesful recovery i restart computer and it comes up with a similar error, there is 3 options.

Recover windows to whole of HD

    Recover windows to 2 partitions

    Recover windows to 1 partition

I dont care about my data I just want it back to normal
