MPEG-2 Codec Pack for Windows Vista

I am not able to get any audio from Windows Media Player. I am using a updated version. It is Media Player 11. I am having some DVD's here which has mpeg 2 file on them. After inserting the disk on quick play more Media Player does nothing. I think the problem lies with codecs here. I am not able to find any appropriate update for the same. I tried windows update also but still it is not working.

You will need to download Klite Codec pack. It is available for free. Just download that and install it in your pc. The codec pack will simply add all required codec and after that you will be able to play any kind of video format of windows media player. This works really well. I was also dealing with the same kind of issue which was resolved as I updated the codec pack. It is working fine now.
