Hi, I have an Inspiron 1525 which was given to me brand new in Oct 2007. As
of two days ago I recieved the same reply or "A problem caused the program to
stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a
solution is available." What kind of a reply is this, "IF"? I have been
told that Vista is somehow working with copyright licenses'. I have paid for
memberships online that allow me to down load videos, which Vista simply put
in "Windows Media Center". Does any one know if Dell will take a system
back, (under extended warranty) delete Vista and install Windows XP?
Learning how Vista is going to operate from day to day is not something I
have time, patience or quite frankly feel is necessary. From a person still
learning basic software programs in my early 40's - I find it hard to believe
that Windows was not fully aware of all or even some of the large number of
issues this system has and yet they let it lose on the public. I was a huge
fan for the first three months, but is has been nothing but a nightmare
since. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I will admit that with
my diminished patience for this system I have as of this posting, only read
the first three post/replies. I somehow doubt that the reply I received that
"if a soultion is available" sounds awfully grim from my perspective. PS I
have the 64 bit system. I am going to wash my car now, at least the car wash,
such a highly evolved technical piece of machinery has not caught on to
Vista's way of attempting to conduct business.
Thank you, one and all.
