Constant Appcrash error on Windows Vista

I am quiet irritated with Appcrash error on Windows Vista. Whenever I turn on my system I am getting it on my screen. I checked in Event Viewer and found very less information. Like the event name was appcrash. The associated applications was explorer.exe. There was some faulty module located but it was not beneficial. I need some help to fix the problem. Thanks.

Update your antivirus and scan your pc for that. There can be virus infection in your system due to which you are getting that issue. Explorer.exe is your desktop and if it crashes you will not be able to see any icons or start menu. It is the first thing that is corrupted by the virus. You can run system restore to get some old settings back but if that does not work well, then you have to run repair setup.

I am having a new HP Pavilion A6600Z lapto with me. I had faced this issue few days when I bought the system. I did a mistake. I forgot to install antivirus. When I install AVG and updated it, I found more than 100 infections. It has spoiled entire Windows partition. Luckily this laptops comes with recovery partition that helped me to restore my system completely. The error that I had faced was exactly the same.

I got that error while playing a game. I activated it using keygen and that cause virus infection in my system. I was not aware but later on the system failed to work properly. Explorer.exe when crashes or uses high system resources, in both cases your system is dealing with virus. There is nothing you can do.
