Gameport on Creative SBLive sound card

I have a Creative SBLive sound card (PCI) with 15-pin gameport in my system cabinet. Yesterday I installed Windows Vista on the same which installed the sound drivers properly without any issue but while trying to install the Gameport driver, it gives me an error message. Here is the Message I found in Event viewer regarding the same:

Hello Victor, i dont think the problem is with Vista, instead it is Creative Labs issue. As you know still Vista is not released in its final edition, there wold be driver problems. I mean Creative has not created Vista compatible drivers for this sound card. And older cards may not be supported at all.

Yeah, that is true. As far as i know Windows Vista has removed the support for any "Gameport" functions of any older hardware. It only supports USB devices. As this is the new OS, still under development, i odnt think even Creative can do any thing in this. They cannot resolve this issue with drivers. There could be two things you can do, first you can update to a newer joystick if you wish to continue using joysticks on your PC, and second, either wait until they release Vista Drivers or use the same on XP.

Yesterday i came through an Article on Microsoft Support page where Andre Rivera - MSFT replied for the question "Are MIDI/Gameports supported under Vista?"

His answer was "We've removed support for these types of devices, in favor of USB connected devices."

Hope you guys understood the situation.
