    Re: XP games to Vista

I am having troubles with the Star Wars Battlefront II game on vista. I
installed it and played it once. After that, when i shutdown my computer, it
would still start-but when i tried to load a map and actually play-the game
would crash to the desktop without an error report. Does anybody have a
    solution?

Playing the games in the "MSN Gaming Zone\windows\" directory

    Dear All,
Not long ago, I had to change my pc's HD.
After installing my original windows XP PRO,
all went well. However, later I found out that
    the games in
    c:\Program Files\MSN Gaming Zone\windows
directory will not run any longer.
I tried to run backgammon and it pops
    up a banner saying:
"Backgammon is unable to start. Close some other programs and try again, or try reinstalling Backgammon using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel"

1 - I have 2GB of ram and no other apps are running.
    2. I tried the Add/Remove programs, and there is NOTHING there to help me re-install it - unless of course
I am not looking in the right place.

Any help to fix this will be grrreatly appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Jago

I experimented with the video settinigs, and I found it is the "optimize
surfaces" option that causes the error. I have unchecked optimize
surfaces and trillinear, and now alt+tab works.

    RE: XP games to Vista

    Hi, all!

Someone posted that Age of Mythology was able to be played in Vista if they
set their computer to XP. I'm trying to port my son's games to his new
computer. Can anyone tell me how to do that? Also, I'm new to this Website
so can you e-mail me at themays769@comcast.net I'm not sure that I'll get
any message sent to the live account.

    Thanks.
