"Computer" missing from right side of Start menu

The "computer" is missing from my Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bit) Start Menu.

I have tried clicking on properties and it is showing that it is there.. Is there a registry hack or fix for this problem?

You might need to fix your corrupted user profile. Your user profile is a collection of settings that make the computer look and work the way you want it to. i have tried that already but it did not work. Some more background inofrmation. I was doing some registry editing and I may have inadvertantly deleted something that I shouldn't have. I would like to know if there is a key that Ican edit

It looks you had made changes to Windows registry. There are some tools which can help you to fix the missing entries of Windows registry. Download any registry repair tool and run the same. You can also perform system restore to get your old settings back. Modifying windows registry manual is not recommended as it can cause system damage. Try to check in new user profile if the icons are appear or not. Right click on taskbar > Properties > start menu and choose Start menu instead of classic.

Have you installed any program called Enhance My Se7en or some other theme software? Immediately remove it and see if you can see the "Computer" appearing again in the start menu. If that doesnt work then system restore to a previous state when everything was working fine before.

I have tried all that including system restore. What i need to know the specific registry keys that would hold such inofrmation.

Well, there are not any specific registry hack for reverts back the missing icons, programs from start menu. They might be defined here probably but cannot be said for sure:
