can't load software; error 1606. could not access network location %AppData%\

I have been trying to install MediaShow - camcorder software. The install shield starts up fine but after some seconds i get error code 1606 saying "Could not access network location %AppData%\". I don't have any idea about this error and i am not able to find any information related to it on the web. I am trying to install MediaShow for the first time as well, so if i am missing out anything then please let me know.

This error occurs because the registry variable is set incorrectly, ie not pointing to where to aim. Run registry editor and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Shell Folders. Search forthe file Name locates the variable AppData and Local AppData. You should check that both variables.
