BLUE SCREEEN ERROR OF igdkmd32.sys

I have Compaq presario notebook which came pre-installed with Windows Vista Home Premium. From last 15 days i was getting blue screen error with the following error code:

"Stop: 0x000000d1 (0xcfbff92c, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x893f0f0b)"

With some additional information

"igdkmd32.sys 893f0f0b base at 88e1a000 datestamp 460d5d9f"

Plz give me some suggestions to get rid from this problem....Many thanks.

Hello yasir, There is a problem with your Intel Graphics drivers, download and install the most recent release from HP/Compaq's support site:
http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

It is a display driver bug. You will need to re-install the same. You can find the new drivers on the official site of your motherboard manufacturer. The stop error that you are getting is due to damage igdkmd32.sys file. This file is used by display driver. To get a temporary fix for the same you can try running system restore. This will stop the blue screen for sometime. Then the next thing you have to do is go ahead with complete fresh driver installation. You can download and find new drivers from web and add them in your system. That will be enough to resolve the problem.

If it is a driver issue then first you have to remove the old one. If you overwrite new drivers on the existing one there are chances that you will still get blue screen errors.
