    Can't shrink volume"Access Denied"

    Can't shrink volume (have done it before) "Access Denied." I'm an
    administrator. The query shows I can shrink 100,000 mb's.

    Windows Vista Home Premium 64-BIT SP1
    Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83GHz
    4.00 GB RAM
    300 GB HDD

    I think User Account Control needs to be turned off.

    And then you most likely have to take ownership of the drive and it's
    folders.
