Then he died; but he had neighter burial nor tomb, for so fiery was his spirit that it sped his body fell to ash and was borne away like smoke... Thus ended the mightiest of the Nolder.

I know nothing about where you can buy Vista in Mumbai, or even
whether you *can* buy directly from Microsoft there, but don't you
have the ability to buy Vista from online stores?
Also, before you decide to replace XP with Vista, be sure of two
things:
1. That Vista drivers are available for all your hardware.
2. That your computer has adequate hardware to run Vista. In
particular, I wouldn't recommend Vista unless you have at least 2GB of
RAM.
Microsoft does not sell Windows direct in India - you need to buy from a
retailer
see
http://www.microsoft.com/india/windo...ialoffers.mspx
and
http://www.microsoft.com/india/windo.../Reseller.aspx
The Microsoft India site directs straight to this site, and this is the only
upgrade version I saw available at first glance:
http://www.buyoriginalms.com/windows...ersionsp1.aspx
I suggest you visit a local authorised retailer in your city. The
estimated retail price for Windows Vista Home Basic Edition now at Rs.
4,000, Windows Vista Home Premium available for Rs. 5,300 and Windows
Vista Ultimate at Rs. 11,500.
Doesn't India have a Best Buy?
