Previously this Trust WB-1100G Webcam that i have used to work fine under XP operating system, but not that I have installed Windows Vista I am not able to load the webcam drivers on the current OS. Can anyone tell me whether this webcam will work in Vista or not.

    Re: Trust WB-1100G Webcam

Well, I searched for the Trust WB-1100G Webcam drivers for Vista and every where only the XP drivers are listed for this webcam. I also found out that this webcam is not supported in Windows Vista and hence if you want to get it working, then you will have to use XP operating system only. You can anyways contact the Trust technical support and ask them if they plan to release a Vista driver for the same webcam.

You can do one thing to install the drivers of this webcam on your Windows Vista operating system. First download the drivers from here and then save it to the desktop. After that right click on the .exe file and then go to its properties. Here you will get different tabs including the Compatibility tab, select the same tab and then in the given list, tick mark Windows XP and then save and close. Now double click the .exe file, the installation will begin. Check if it gives any error messages or not.
