Lost TSSTcorp DVD+-RW TS-L632H ATA drivers for Dell Vostro 1000

I am not able to use TSSTcorp DVD+-RW TS-L632H ATA on my Dell Vostro 1000 laptop. I was working until I upgraded to Vista Home Basic. I can boot from that DVD drive, but in Vista it is not reading any of my DVD. Because after upgrade I have to install the drivers. And that is the one which is not working. So my audio, video and lan is pending. I checked in Device Manager and found some error 39. It tried to run the driver setup through usb device but still the optical drive fails to work. I need some help here by which I can make it work in Vista.

Go to Device Manager and right click on the drive. Then click on uninstall. Reboot your system and let Vista locate proper driver for that. This will be automatic. It has happened in my desktop when I was upgrading to Vista and the same failed. There are some registry tweaks that work, but there are less chances of getting the right solution. There can be other more errors with registry changes. Just restart and follow the screen instructions.

No need to go with registry changes. Just uninstall it and then re-install it back. This will be enough. It happens due to some outdated drivers. Vista can locate compatible drivers through Windows Update and this one will be one of the easiest way to fix it.
