Windows Vista 64bit is not detecting my mouse and keybaord

My new mouse and keyboard are not working in Windows Vista. It is a 64bit edition pc. I am having my old one, but I just purchased a nice multimedia combo. It has set of additional buttons. To keep my system good in performance I installed a registry booster in it. I keep on cleaning my system and ensure that there are no invalid keys. Now when I had connected the mouse and keyboard they were detected and installed. I run the registry booster back. On reboot both are not working. While I can access bios through my keyboard. So somehow that registry booster has wiped the mouse or keyboard settings. How can I restore them back. Vista is not detecting anything.

Go to Device Manager first. Uninstall the mouse and keyboard. You can locate them quiet easily. And also uninstall that registry booster software. It is strictly recommended that you must not use any kind of third party registry repair or booster software. Because they are not safe. If any changes made, your system will fail to boot. Just uninstall both the hardware and restart your system. Windows Vista will detect them and install it.
