Mouse right click is not working in Windows Vista

My mouse suddenly stopped working on my Vista laptop. I was able to see the point moving but none of clicks were responding. I tried to change the mouse port and now only single click is working. The right click is not responding. While I can access the same through keyboard. Does any hardware update can fix this. It started happening after running Windows Update.

I think your mouse time is over. It is going to stop soon. Better buy a new one. You can try running a fresh driver update through device manager. Just go in Device Manager and click on the mouse. Use the keyboard right menu key and choose uninstall. Restart your pc. Vista will detect and install the mouse. If that works then there is no hardware fault. But if the same does not work then you will need to buy a new mouse.

It is a mouse fault. No need to play with drivers stuff. It is a very basic thing. There is not settings in Windows available that disable right click. It is enable by default. So if that has stopped working then it would be better you buy a new one. Usb mouse are much cheaper this days.
