Error 2117 while installing HP scanjet 3300C Scanner

I had visited HP website and downloaded some latest drivers. I found that there is driver available for Windows Vista. So I downloaded the latest Windows XP drivers. I am using the compatibility mode to install the drivers. I think this might work, but the idea failed. I need some help here to install this HP scanjet 3300C in Vista.

There is Vista drivers available for that scanner. And Vista drivers will not work. The only last option that you can try is locating the driver through Windows Update. Just go to Add Printer section from Start Menu and follow the manual method. There you will have to provide the manufacturer and model of printer and Windows Update will help you to locate the drivers back again.
