HP Pavillion DV9022ea with Yuan EC300 DVB-T TV Tuner

I am having a HP Pavilion DV9022EA Notebook. I am using Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 on the same. My friend suggested me to use Vista. So I bought Vista Home Premium. I had performed a clean installation by formatting the system completely and installing a fresh edition of Vista. Everything worked well except the Tv Tuner Card. It is some Yuan EC300 DVB-T TV Tuner. It was working well on Windows XP Media Center. But on Vista it is not detected. I had tried to run the fresh driver downloaded from the manufacturer website. But that also did not worked. It looks Vista does not at all support this TV Tuner card.

Did you checked the official website of TV-Tuner card. If not then try to find the driver update on the same. If there is no Vista driver available then you can simply ignore to use it on Vista. Dual boot your system and then install Windows XP on the same. It is always recommended that you use the most compatible drivers only on needed OS. Or else you will land on this kind of common problem every now and then.
