Vista automatic driver installation problem

Vista is not detecting nor installing automatic drivers in Windows Vista. I have issue with using some usb devices. They are not quiet detected by Vista. In Windows XP when I hook my phone or usb hubs they are automatically detected and installed. But later on in Vista, this is not at all working. Does some kind of internal updates can handle the issue. Thanks.

Update the usb driver and run all necessary windows update. This will give a bit boost to gain more fresh driver updates. About which device basically you are looking for driver. I had face similar issue with usb device connectivity and I updated the latest edition of USB 2.0 drivers. That really worked.
