Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Chipset

I have a Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family on my computer and when i try to install its driver, then it says that it is not compatible with Window Vista. I have tried updating the drivers from Windows update but that didnt work either. So is there anyone who can help me out with this issue. Thanks alot for any replies.

Have you checked the intel official site, i think that here is one driver listed for this chipset on their website. You can simply go to their download pages and then check the software which is compatible with your motherboard that you have. Then download the proper version and install it. I was able to find one though, for Windows Vista, below is its link:

I recently fixed this issue which was similar in my case. I didnt download any Vista drivers from any website including the official Intel site. I had the Windows XP drivers on my pc and then to install it, I used windows xp service pack 3 compatibility mode and admin priviledges to install the drivers and it instantly worked. Now I even dont have to worry for any missing frames in my divx playback anymore and I can also fine tune the graphics settings using the Intel graphics configuration tool. Try this method out and it will definitely work out for anybody who is facing this issue.
