Logitech Headset - PN B-0125A not working

I am using a Logitech Headset. On my desktop which has Windows XP, it works fine and there is no need to have any drivers. But when I use the same on Vista, it is not working. There is audio in the speaker the issue lies with the headset only. This is a bit confusing to find. I am sure there is no driver needed for any headset. But in Device Manager I had seen a small yellow icon listed under some audio device below Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Does that can be responsible for the problem.

It is right that a headset does needs a driver. But are you using a usb headset of a regular one. You had not mentioned clearly. There are three type of headset that are commonly found. First is the regular 3.5mm pin type connector, usb connector and wireless. For the 3.5mm pin connector there is no driver needed. It works through audio ports provided on the rear and front side. But if you are using the a usb headset then you will need to find Vista compatible drivers.
