Installing Ricoh RL5C592 MEMORY STICK BUS HOST ADAPTER in Vista

I am not able to install Ricoh rl5c592 memory stick bus host adapter in my Vista 64bit Home Premium system. I had tried a number of different setup, but nothing worked there. Does anyone has any idea why this is not working. The problem started after upgrading to Vista 64bit. Now my audio is dead and my wireless mouse is also not working.

Go to the official website. I had seen tons of this kind of thread. Whenever you face this kind of issue first visit the manufacturers website. It will give you official driver updates and will allow you to use your older hardware. If the Vista drivers are not available then you will not be able to do anything. You have to either dual boot your system adding Windows XP or simply stick with whatever is working right now.

First of all download the Ricoh 4-in-1 Card Reader Driver from this link and then follow the below instructions:

    1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
    2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\4IN1.
    3. For Windows Vista, Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run.
    4. Click Browse.
    5. Select the folder where the package was extracted in Step 2.
    6. Select setup.exe.
    7. Click Open.
    8. Click OK.
    9. Follow the instructions on the screen.

If your above driver doesnt work then you can also download the drivers that are listed for Ricoh R5C832, R5C843, R5C833, v.1.0.1, A00 from here. This file contains a compressed (or zipped) set of files. Download the file to a folder on your hard drive, and then run (double-click) it to unzip the set of files. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
