Logitech Webcam installation failed on Windows Vista RC1

My Logitech Webcamera is not working in my Vista computer. I am using MSN Messenger 7.5. When I connect the camera it was detected and I use the CD that came with it for drivers update. It looks all went fine and there was no issue with the setup. But when I start Messenger for video chat the camera does not work. I need some help in using this camera on Windows Vista. Thanks.

I am using a similar model from Logitech and it works quiet well on Vista. I had not used the driver disc as it is lost. But I was able to find the right drivers on the official website and it worked. You have to do the same thing. You will need to locate the most recent and appropriate drivers from web. You can then run the setup and it will work.

That is right you need the right drivers. You had not mentioned the exact model. Because that can help you to locate the right drivers. Windows Vista is buggy in matters of drivers. There is nothing much you can do. Unless you can find the most recent and working drivers.
