how to fix Dragon Ball Xenoverse has stopped working

I was so excited to get Dragon Ball Xenoverse game finally for pc. After downloading and installing the game when I try to lauch the game then I get an error message saying that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse has stopped working". No matter how many times I try to start, it will give the same error message again and again. I have all the latest graphics driver and other drivers installed in my computer. I can play all other games like Far Cry 4 and AC Unity without any issue. So what could be the problem here? Any ideas

I will first suggest you to verify the game cache and see if that works:
    1. Completely exit Steam
    2. Right-click on the shortcut which you use to launch Steam
    3. Select "Run as Administrator"
    4. Launch Steam again and continue to the section of this article titled "Verify integrity of game cache"

It might be due to the game is running on 1 processor only. So, what you will need to do is click on Start and in Search type msconfig. After that go to boot and then choose Advanced options. Now here you need to find the number of processors and choose 12. After that you just need to reboot your computer and upon booting on to desktop, double click on the .exe file of the Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Hope this helps you out.

Well, have you tried to launch the game in compatability mode and checked if it is working? To do that right click on the game.exe file and then click on Properties. After that click on the Comapatibility tab and then tick mark on Run this game on comapatablity mode and choose Windows 7 or Vista. After that also tick mark "Run as administrator" and click on ok. Now double click on the game to run it on your pc and see if it starts.
