How to remove black bars in The Evil Within

After buying and installing The Evil Within game in my pc, it is launching fine without any issues. But the problem is that the game looks very small in the black bars showing below the screen while playing this game. So, is there any option to remove the black bars without modifying the aspect ratio? If the black bars gets removed then the gameplay will also extend to the screen showing everything clearly. Thanks for any information

There was a guy called Drogean at Guru3D website who was able to make a trainer that removes the black bars in The Evil Within game. Apparently, that post seems to be deleted from their website. However, you can try to download and run his trainer from this link or this link and then use these console commands - First run the game with +R_FORCEASPECTRATIO 0, it is an optional setting incase you are looking to disable black bars completely. Or else you can press Numpad 8 to enable and numpad + or - to increase by 2.5, the default being 80fov with r_Forceaspectratio 2.5.

For the above settings you will need to unlock the console commands as well. So, to do that, you will need to activate the console first. Just go to Steam and right click on The Evil Within game and then choose Properties and go to General tab and press the Set Launch Options. After that you need to type this letters to unlock the console, ie; +com_allowconsole 1. After launching the game, you just have to press the Insert key on your keyboard to bring the developer console.

Apart from removing the black borders there are also many commands that you can use to unlock many things in the game. For example, The Evil Within runs at 30FPS locked by default but to run it on 60 FPS then you can type R_swapinterval -1 and if you want to fully remove the framerate then you can type R_swapinterval 0 in the console. For God Mode type God in console and for infinite ammo type G_infiniteammo. You can also type Noclip in the console to walk through walls.
