Can I play Sims 3 on Core 2 Duo pc with 4GB RAM

I just want a bit information on installing Sims 3 on my system. I want to know does it will work on my system that has as Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB Ram and Intel hd graphics. I have 500GB hard drive on the same. I had tried to play a older series that worked well. But not sure about Sims 3. I want to play this game and I am not having the disc right now. Before ordering I want to confirm that it is going to work or not.

It will work but you wont get good output.Because this kind of games require a gpu that can provide good amount of graphics. And you need a 128 MB Video Card which must have support for Pixel Shader 2.0. Or else the output will be not so great. Do this get a trail or demo of the game from somewhere. You can find that online and install that. If that works then you can buy it or you have to try some other game.

I think it will work if you can reduce the resolution to minimum. It is good if you can download the demo and test through that. If it works then fine or else you have to try a more older edition. You must have atleast 512mb of video memory to make the game work fine. Or else it will lag or freeze when you try to play. Even on low resolution there is no surety that it will work. You need a graphic card anyhow for good output.
