Cannot sign in to PSN, error code 8002A548

My PSN Id is not working. It was working fine, then suddenly I started getting a weird error on the screen. The error code is 8002A548. I had never seen this before. I have a very old id and I use it regularly to checkout new stuff. But now this id is not working and giving out error whenever I try to login. I had checked my internet connection also. It is fine there is no issue with that. Does my profile is discontinued.

It looks this is a common issue with everyone. I got the same thing on my friends console. he was trying to login and got the same error. It is not yet fixed. It looks there is some issue on the website. I hope this resolve fast.

I am sure that the issue is associated with the site not with the console. I got the same thing and it is not yet resolved. I was playing Battlefield on the same last night. I was playing this online multiplayer match. I was kicked out instantly from the map and got the same error code. I thought the issue was with my internet. I checked that on my laptop which was working fine. I tried to join back but nothing worked. The same issue appeared. At last I turned of the game and reset everything. This morning I started back to play the game and it worked. I was able to login with the id. But after few hours the same error appeared. And again the game stopped working. This is a bit weird issue and I am not able to understand why even after getting logged in, this thing stops working. It looks some bug with PS3. I had asked a question on the same on the official forum, but they had not yet replied.

I am getting sign out after 10mins. It is not constant. Atleast I am able to login. But many are not. I hope this issue will be resolved fast. I think the site is not able to handle too much server load. Try to restart your console and check back.
