Mark of the Ninja Special Edition DLC Problem

When ever the Dosan DLC level intro video starts and after it finishes I am sent back to the main menu again? Also, if I am trying to play the actual game then also I am facing the same problem. I thought this problem might only be in the DLC level but why is it happening in all mode? I also tried to skip the cutscenes and have reset the save game but still I am getting the same issue? Can anyone please help me out? Thanks.

It seems to be some sort of cinematic bugs in the game. Does this only happens when you watch cinematics or in game cutscenes, the screen goes black and you get only the sound playing in the background. If so, then you can try to run DirectX installer again and see if that solves the issue. Can you try to verify the games cache and see if that works. For doing the same follow the below method:

1. First of all you need to go to your Steam Library and then right click on "Mark of the Ninja" game.
2. After that select "Properties" and then slect the "Local Files" tab.
3. Now you need to click on the "Verify Integrity Of Game Cache..." button.
4. After the process is completed, try to launch Mark of the Ninja and see if the problem is solved or not.
