Games compatible with windows 8

Which are the latest games compatible with windows 8??? By now I have installed games likes prototype 2, Assassin's Creed III and CS: GO. None of them worked on windows 8, I had to run them in compatibility mode with “Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)”. So I want to know if there are any other latest games that will run on windows 8 without a need to run them in compatibility mode???

I am aware of some games that run in windows 8 and they are as followed. You don’t have to run them in compatibility mode.

Yes there are many games that are compatible with windows 8 but you won’t get expected FPS. There are many sites which have performed number of benchmark test while playing games on windows 7 as well as windows 8 and have come to conclusion that windows 7 is better still better for gaming compared to windows 8. Some of the other games that are compatible with windows 8 are as followed:

Assassin's Creed III is not compatible with windows 8, I have installed it recently and I am running it in compatibility mode with “Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)”. I wanted to add that there are just not games, but there are many applications that are still not compatible with windows 8. Since windows 8 have been released a month ago I guess game developers need some time to come up with new games fully compatible with windows 8.

Yes there are many Known titles on the upcoming pc gaming list and I just wish they would be compatible with windows 8, because even I have upgraded to windows 8. I don’t mind playing games in compatibility mode, but that just makes the game crappy with low fps and rendering.

As far as I am aware most of the latest games run in compatibility mode of windows 8. However, you won’t get better fps and there will be screen distortion. Some games will only run in window mode only. These are some upcoming games and they are expected to be fully compatible with windows 8.
