Sleeping Dogs is a completely broken game, has a lot of bugs

Sleeping Dogs is a completely broken game, it has a lot of bugs. I have started playing the game and I am encountering lags and stutters. The control of the game using Mouse+Keyboard or 360 controllers are just horrible. I don’t know why its camera is getting locked to center which is making the whole game unplayable. I am having a system above requirement of this game and even after that the game is not running properly.
System speciation:

• i5-750 @ 4.0 GHz
• 4x 2GB DDR2 pc8500 Kingston HyperX
• ASUS GeForce 480GTX
• Win7 Ultimate 64Bit

I think that there might be something wrong going on in your system, I had preordered Sleeping Dogs and I am playing it since the day it became available. I haven’t faced any issue with the game and its running quite smoothly. I wanted to know if you have installed latest graphic driver for ASUS GeForce 480GTX ? If you haven’t then install it now and see if that’s making any difference. Just make sure that you are installing latest driver for your card and making a clean installation of it.

I have tried out all those things earlier and that is not making any difference, I have uninstalled and reinstalled latest graphic driver for my card several times but still it doesnt work. The issue still exists, same lagging, stuttering and horrible controlling. If you say “there might be something wrong going on in your system” than can you let me know what else might be causing the issue?? I haven’t faced such weird issue with any of the latest game, it is just with Sleeping Dogs. I have tried running the game by lowering down the setting but that’s not taking any affect as well.

There can be different reasons for it:

• You might not be having compatible driver for running the game, in that case you can try installing different version of latest driver for finding out the most suitable one. I have found people mentioning Nvidia 301.42 drivers to be the most stable one, so you can use that.
• You might be having some applications running in background while playing the game, in that case you can close them all and run the game alone.

If at all you don’t get any help after following these things then you can simply try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Have you tried playing the game with below setting?? Currently I am running Sleeping Dogs with below setting and its running smoothly, if you want then you can try out the same:

• Anti-aliasing - High
• Hi-Res Texture - ON
• Shadow resolution - High
• shadow filter - Normal
• Ambient occlusion - Normal
• V-sync - ON
• Motion Blur - OFF
• World density EXTREME

I will suggest you to run the game with the below settings:

• Anti-aliasing - OFF
• Hi-Res Texture - ON
• Shadow resolution - Medium
• shadow filter - Normal
• Ambient occlusion - Normal
• V-sync - OFF
• Motion Blur - OFF
