Just Cause 2 Failsafe

On my pc, when ever i try to open just cause 2, this pops out
"Fatal Direct X Error
Code:15
Result:0x80070057: E_INVALIDARG
The game will now exit. Try starting the game with /failsafe if problem persists"

This is a Direct X compatibility error. You will need to run Windows update. OR you can manual download Direct X and run in your system. Windows update will be better. This is a very annoying error. It can be due to the game also. First just get a new update for Direct X. If still the error continue you will need to remove the game and re-install the same back again.
