I have heard that EA games are offering certain free items to the people who play Mass Effect3 demo and complete Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning. These free items will be useful in Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning Legend of Dead Kel. Is it true? If yes, what are the items that will be given free? I am really curios and excited to know, does anybody else know anything about this? Has anybody played the demo version of Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning Legend of Dead Kel, how is it?

The demo version of Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning Legend of Dead Kel features the tutorial of the main game. The player has to complete the tutorial first. This is good, as when the main game releases, one will be able to skip the tutorial and jump directly to the main game. It has some basic character development facilities. After the character is developed and the tutorial is completed, the player is left to explore the world for 45 minutes. There won’t be any missions or objectives, but just free roam. This will make the players acquainted with the environment and will help them when they begin the full version of game.

By completing the demo version of Mass effect 3, you will unlock two items that can be used in the kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning Legend of Dead Kel. The first item is N7 armor. This is the same armor that Commander Shephard uses in Mass Effect series. It will be equipped with some of its weapons like gauntlets, Cuirass and Greaves. Another weapon that you will get is an Omniblade Daggers. They are the holographic daggers which Commander Shephard uses to stab his enemies.

By completing the Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning you will unlock 3 weapons that can be used in Kingdom of Amalur : Reckoning Legend of Dead Kel. The first weapon is the Twist of Fate card. This card increases the player’s resistance to Ice attacks. Another weapon you can get is Twinned Souls Chakram. This weapon can be used to attack; it also provides health boosts and regenerates mana over certain period of time.

You also get a infernal helm after completing the tutorial in demo version of Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning Legend of Dead Kel. It is a helmet tha can be worn by one’s character that increase the strength of attacks that are related to fire.

If anybody wants to redeem these dlc content while playing the games on PC, then the person will have to create an account in Origin. The origin account will be used to download and manage the dlc related to Mass Effect 3 and Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning Legend of Dead Kel. User need not install the Origin client or application. Just logging in using the username and password is enough. After you get the full versions of both the games, you will need to provide details of your Origin account to redeem the dlc.

I don’t think that such cross over promotion of games is right for reputed publishers like EA games. What I mean is that if a person is not interested in playing Mass Effect 3 or maybe he doesn’t have time to play both the games and he/she chooses to play just Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning Legend of Dead Kel. Then to get the fullest fun of the game, he/she will have to spend time on Mass Effect 3 demo. This will just make them avoid games from EA games next time because of such conditions. I think that EA games should avoid such promotions.

All those who will be using PC to redeem he dlc, see to it that your OS is genuine. I have seen many people complaining about dlc not working. On researching, it was found that most of their OS hadn’t passed the Windows authentication test.
