How to Fix MLB 2k12 Game Crashing

Hello I have installed MLB 2k12 game on my system and I am getting random crashes to the desktop while playing this game. Whenever I start the game then it will crash to desktop. So is there anyone who can suggest me how to solve this issue so that I can play this game without any issue.
Below is my pc configuration:

• Video card: 2x eVGA 8800gts 512
• Processor: QX9650 at 3.33ghz
• Mainboard: MSI 780i
• Memory: 4Gb GSkill 800mhz 4-4-4-12
• Soundcard: X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty Champion
• OS: Windows XP Pro 32 bit

I think that you are getting the error due to two video cards installed in your computer. Therefore I would like to suggest you to run the game with only one card and see if that works for you. Some game doesnt in SLI support.

MLB 2k12 might be needing additional virtual memory for it to run properly, so usually if your virtual memory is not configured properly then you will face the crashing and freezing issue. So I would like to suggest you to go through the below steps:
Go to control panel and after that click on the system. Now on the system click on Advance tab and under that choose Virtual memory/Change. Now here select the drive where you have installed the MLB 2k12 and after that click on the System managed size radio button under Paging file size for selected drive page. Save the setting and see if it solves the problem.

I was also facing this same problem but later on I resolved it. First you have to disable the anti-virus programs, because anti-virus programs can cause graphics problems, crashing issue, so therefore its necessary to disable anti-virus programs while gaming. Secondly try to remove all unnecessary application and program on your system; if your system has lots of program enabled in background then you will get the crashing issue due to overload.

2. Open the ZIP file and extract mlb2k12_patch_v1.2.0.exe onto your hard drive.
3. Run mlb2k12_patch_v1.2.0.exe and follow any prompted instructions.
4. If you receive an error message, please ensure the game is installed prior to running.
