No free ride provided in SSX

I was big fan of SSX3 game and so far I have played all the previous version of the game. I played the demo version of SSX and came to knew that there were speed and controls in the game. but there was no free ride in the game. in SSX3 I was able to ride from top of the mountain to the bottom and DJ Atomika spouted the progress as per the signs and running on the track. I am really disappointed and I wont purchase the game until there is drop in the price.

This particular game seems to be an open world. So I am expecting that there will be free ride mode in the game.

You are saying that you will be able to ride on entire full mountain without doing any racing in the game. I agree that there was fun when I supposed to ride to lodge and buy stuffs which I required and avoiding the contestants.

In the latest version of SSX they have provided a new mode which is called as SSX. You can consider Explore as a free ride in the game. however they have not provided any actual free mode. If you have selected drop in Explore and 3 AI riders as well as ghost. So it seems to be free ride in that manner.

Well I am expecting that there will be story mode in the game. you will get the story mode when you are playing online. if you wanted to have free race then you have to go for any of the mountain select any of the race. Once done do whatever you wanted to do in the game.
