Dear Esther not working

I love to play video games. recently I have downloaded and installed Dear Esther on computer. I tried to launch the game on my system but it did not seems to working at all. I could not get what is wrong happening? Is this happening because of bug? Or due to some other problem? if you are having proper solution then let me know about the same.

After going through the problem you should try to launch the game as administrator. So what I am saying that you should right click on the exe file of the game. from the right click menu you have to click on Run as Administrator.

If you are not able to resolve the issue then you will need to verify the integrity of the game cache. You should load Steam on your computer.

• Now click on Library and right click on the game.
  
• From there click on Properties menu and click on Verify the integrity of the game cache.

Could be possible that back ground process running on the system might be interfering with the game. So you should try to clean boot your system and see whether it is helping you or not. Also if you are having any antivirus program running on system then disable the same and let know whether it is making any difference in the situation.

I think you will need to install the latest version of the graphic card drivers and DirectX on the system.

I think there is something went wrong at the time of downloading the game so you should redownload and reinstall the game on your system.
