I played the XBOX 360 version of Alan Wake. When there was news about Alan Wake to be released for PC, I read in one of the articles that there will changes in HUD and save system of game. What changes have been made?

The HUD of Alan Wake’s PC version will have option to be hidden when not to be used. This will let the player get full view of graphics of the game without any interference of HUD objects. The components of the HUD cannot be hidden individually. One can hide all the components if he/she wants or can keep all of them visible.
When it was declared about Alan Wake to be optimized for PC, developers had planned of letting user save games in between the play whenever they wanted. But the planned system when implemented and tested, exposed lots of glitches and bugs. So the developers had to stay back and apply the default save method of Checkpoint. The game will have checkpoints; reaching there the game will be saved. The game can be resumed again from the checkpoint only.
