FOV is to small and narrow in Alan wake

It is really very much annoying about Alan wake that this game seems too small for me, so I want to know that will a patch be released that and increase the FOV like the Bioshock developers did? It is very annoying to see that the developers are making these wide screen games which have smaller fov.

I don’t think that it problem with third person shooter but would be much good if they would add the FOV slider to options in this game, also I think that that smaller FOV increase the performance, where it is brilliant in thrill. Currently I can’t say anything about the patch.
