It is official since yesterday already, the series Alan Wake will be perpetuated. the title will not be the Alan Wake 2 we expected but a downloadable game available on Xbox LIVE. Until then, nothing new. It would be called Alan Wake's Night Springs. As a reminder, Night Springs is in the game world, a fictional series based on the paranormal. The episodes of this series take place in the city just as fictional Night Springs each episode tells a story with a moral at the end.

An opposition between the words used in the names of two places clearly show a contrast between two worlds.

Bright / Night: clear / bright as day and night and night;
Fall / Spring: autumn and spring, two opposite seasons.

This would be a known XBLA fansite a brand new download title. Night Springs was the name of a Twilight Zone-style TV show That you're printable letter to watch episodes or throughout Alan Wake. Alan Wake Night Springs (provisional and unofficial) should still be an episode of "interim" waiting for Alan Wake 2, already in development for Xbox 720, according to some rumors in recent days.

The first Alan Wake has required five years of development, only to be rejected by critics and snubbed by most of the spectators. In fact the game was "killed" by the votes of the poor international press. Sales of the retail version were bad but Remedy has made it known that unlike sales of the digital version available on the Xbox Live marketplace has been more than positive.

Therefore the decision to develop a new game Alan Wake exclusively for the digital market, a sort of thanks to all those who have enabled the writer to continue living his adventures.
