ATI hd radeon 5870 is giving 15 FPS on high for Battlefield 3

I think you have got the idea about the thing which I have asked over here in this particular thread. I am having ATI HD Raedon 5870 graphic card on my system. I have installed Battlefield 3 on the computer of mine and whenever I am trying to play the game I am getting 15FPS. Let me know if you are having idea why I am suffering from the above mentioned issue. any help to resolve the issue will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Can you provide the information regarding the hardware configuration of your system? which operating system do you have installed? what is happening when you are playing any other game on your system?

Following is the computer configuration of my computer.

Nvidia nForce 650i Ultra
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz
CORSAIR Dual-channel DDR3 1333MHz 4GB (2 X 2GB)
XFX HD Raedon 5870
OCZ GameXStream
Windows 7 Professional
Internal Western Digital 750GB

So far I have not played any other game on the computer of mine but i will tell you about as I will try.

Well I am suggesting following steps which will be helpful to get the requirement of yours.

• You have to launch the Catalyst Control Panel and click on the preferences.
• From preferences you have to click on the restore factory defaults.
• Once you have done the same you have to find out whether there is difference into FPS.

1. You have to overclock the CPU to 3.2 GHz.
2. You have to terminate all the unwanted processes from Windows.
3. After that Disable Aero Desktop in Windows 7 and also you will need to kill explorer process.
4. Now close the server browser at the time of playing the game.
5. Finally you will need to set the BF3 process priority of the Above Normal.

After going through the entire issue I am suggesting following thing which you can try to fix the issue of yours.

• You should disable anti-aliasing.
• Set anistropic filter to 1X.
• After that you have to set Ambient Occulsion to HBAO.

For resolve the issue I recommend that you should clean boot the computer. in which you have to disable all the back ground process running on the computer. another thing which I recommend that you should disable the antivirus program on the computer.

I think you will need to install the latest version of the DirectX as well as graphic card driver on the computer. After installing the same you have to reboot the computer.
Also you should reinstall the game on the system.

Well I am highly suspecting that the above mentioned issue is happening because of the bug issue. the developers are only responsible for fixing the bug issue .
