How to increase fps in Star Wars :Old Republic

Hi, I am a big fan of the game star wars :old republic and I have installed the same game on my system too. But the problem that has encounter while playing the game is of the fps. My game fps goes down to 8 or 10 and sometimes it goes to 5 also. It becomes very difficult because it lags while playing.I have turned the graphic level of the game to low. Can anybody help me out of this problem that how to increase the fps? Any suggestions would be helpful.

I think you should check the system requirements of this game especially the Graphic Card required for this game. The problem might be because the game is not running on its Full system requirements and that’s why the fps must be going down to such extent.

I have installed the Star Wars :Old Republic on my system having Intel CPU of Pentium 4 with 3.0 GHz, Nvidia GPU of GeForce 205 and AMD GPU of Radeon HD 6250. The game is running on my System with 30 fps. Also I have turned Off the Bloom Effect. So, try turning of the bloom effect. Bloom is a computer graphics effect used in Computer Games to reproduce the real effects dealing with the lights. This effects decrease the fps level due to its high graphical images of the light.I think turning off the bloom effect will increase your fps to some extent.

I was having the same problem with the fps of this game. Then I checked all the drivers installed on my system. After uninstalling the old drivers I installed first the new graphic drivers of the graphic card. And I got the result of 30 fps. Also I turned the bloom and shadow effect off to increase the fps of the game.

I have Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz, 1gb Ram(sucks) and 1,5GB GPU, should I buy this game, will it work?

After looking at the system config of yours I don’t recommend to purchase the game.
However you can upgrade the system according to game requirement and buy the game.
