Unable to play Trine 2 at 1920x1080 screen resolution

Recently I have purchased the beta version of Trine 2 and installed the same on the computer. the installation of the game was successful but still I am getting an issue with the resolution of the game. I have tried to play the game with 1920x1080 resolution from the game menu. However as I am trying to launch the game it is returning to 1024x768 resolution. Let me know if you are having any useful information to get requirement of mine. Thanks a lot in advance.

Looking at the situation I am suggesting following solution which you can try.

You should go for Users and then go for Users name.

After that click on the AppData and click on Roaming and click on Trine 2.

Once you have reach over there you have to put desired value against of ScreenWidth and ScreenHeight in config.txt file.

Well after going through the post of yours I am suggesting that you will need to override the refresh rate.

• To doing the same you have to go for steamapps/common/trine/config/options.txt.
• Now you have to add the refresh_rate_override = 50 into the Display Section.
• Once you have to save the file and make it read only.
• After that you should run the game and see whether the issue is resolved or not.

If you have not managed to fix the matter than I am suggesting that you should reinstall the game and after reinstalling the game you will need to reboot the computer.

The entire thing can be associated with the bug issue of the game so I am suggesting that you should contact the developer of the game. you have to contact the developer of the game and file a bug report to them. The developer of the game will work on the same and they will release the patch which you can apply to fix the matter of yours.
