Unable to hear sound in NFS:the run

I have a sound issue which needs to be fixed; I am unable to hear the car, the nitrous going off. Also the cinamatics where you are able to hear everything apart from the pronunciation by the characters! Some kind of noise in the background can be heard! Please assist me as I am an addicted gamer.

I am of the opinion that it might be possible that your surround sound settings are having some sort of problem. If I am able to know on which platform you are playing the game, it will be possible for me to sort it out.

Try with onboard soundcard or a standalone, which will solve the issue. I as well have the Xi-Fi Gamer with no any sound issues, coming apart.

I think that a software issue has been encountered for this instance. The game is not able to play sound or plays in-frequent sound occurs when there is a bad installation of game. Try a fresh installation of new game. It will sort out the issue or there is a possibility of solving the issue.

I think that turning down or switching the Directsound Acceleration to off position will enable sound to be active next time.
