The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Dark Brotherhood Throwbacks

Is there someone else who noticed the awesome throwbacks for the DB quest line similar to the Blade of Woe and Shadowmere and even Lucien Lachance coming back to you as a spirit. And anyone else notices the resemblance of the last mission "Hail Sithis" to one of your first in the waterfront? Where you sneak throughout the ship to kill the captain as you do to the Emperor? If you see anymore throwbacks to Oblivion/Morrowind post them here as I am really interested in that.

The sanctuary gets slaughtered yet again for the reason of the treacherous bastard. There are minor spoiler that I let Cecil live and when I saw the imperial saying "One of your own betrayed you...". I was angry about that.
