God of War 2 PS2 emulator

hey! can anyone help me to speed up god of war 2 game on pcsx2 0.98.
ive got the following pc config:

2nd gen intel core i5 @ 2.8Ghz. turbo - 3.1ghz.
4 GB ddr3 ram
nvidia geforce 210 1GB card.


probs:
the res is too low.
emulation speed is low & if i push preset speed hack slider to 4 or more. the character flickers.
when i use directx10 software and push the slider to 6.it doesn't give any video problems. but the res is way too low.
i use intel DH61WW board, it has 3 vga bus connectors. can i add and use 2 cards at the same time.

i'm intending to buy a new vga card. my budget is 12,000 indian rupees.
please suggest a high perfomance card.
is there a way to change res while using dirx10soft renderer.

I have some more names of PS2 emulator that can help. But you need a good graphic card for that. The second list is of some top gpus. Do check your motherboard configuration before buying a gpu.Because it is necessary to check the system compatibility. For a high performance card you will need a good psu also. Upgrading the psu will increase the systems performance.
