    It is very irritating! This has been my biggest problem with the game since the original beta. I think you have to pre-design essentially what we want the city to look like before you start - low-income residents here, no dirty industry, high-rise offices here, etc. The growth of the city does not feel as as SC4 natural or organic - and obtain the challenge, as are able to be the elites within areas through minimal services make available - high wealth residents come into view at SC4 if services within the area were superior and the demand was soaring sufficient. I love CXL however I only wish that they had to take all started by the good concepts introduced by Maxis and then added his personal touch into the genre of city building.

I have not tried the Ministry of Defense under the bridge yet, but I think that building bridges is downright impossible to get perfectly straight and looking reasonable. Currently I just created a saved game before the construction of a bridge and just reload if I screw up.

    Accurately how was interchange handled within SC4 after that? I can't visualize a large town through the similar roads as the ones of a diminutive town; the roads would basically be further than their capacity.

And the New York street network itself is more or less the same as the early 1800's when the streets were planned. Some roads may be expanded and some can be converted into one-way streets, but the overall design of the city remains the same. SC4 captured this aspect of the growth of the city.
