Call of Juarez: The Cartel popup "Steam needs to be running in order to play the game"

Well I am having a particular issue with this particular game Call of Juarez: The Cartel. Well whenever I am trying to play this particular game on the computer of mine. but it is prompting with an error message which can be stated that ‘Steam needs to be running in order to play the game’ Let me know if you are having any speculation on this particular matter. Well looking at the problem which you mentioned over here I am suggesting that you should simply run the game through steam. You have to add the game into My Games tab of the steam.

In this particular situation I am suspecting that there could be an issue with the security software which you have installed on the computer. so you should disable the Firewall as well as security software which you have installed on the computer of yours and see whether it is working or not. if the issue is resolved than you should simply configure the firewall as security software on the computer to fix the matter of yours.
