Ego-based deaths in duke nukem forever

Well I am raising this question here is that does ego kills Dukes often in the game because the thing here is that whenever I have played the game rather than bullets he is killed by one or the other things so what I want from you people is that just try and play the game if you have it and please answer me whether you all are also feeling the same here.
