    Specifications of Xbox 360 Kinect

In terms of performance KINECTS allows recognition and restitution of movements of several players currently accept two games featured players, but it is only a limitation own games and not KINECTS, the maximum number of players should therefore increase in future titles coming to seem, however, with a limit of one player will have to know afterward. You see that sometimes in a game in split screen you can not add players and players because otherwise it becomes difficult to understand what is happening and that is true for any game. I was knowing this much only.. I am here to have some discussions with you members about specifications of Xbox 360 Kinect and other things.

All this is made possible through a system of monitoring and analysis of the human body that records the movements of 48 points on the body in real time. This identification is allowed by the hardware on the device. Indeed KINECTS embeds a first camera RGB responsible for recording the video stream and allow facial recognition. KINECTS is also equipped with a depth sensor consists of a second infrared camera and a CMOS sensor. This device allows one hand to the device crisscross part of infrared light, allowing it to function quite normally in the absence of light sources. On the other hand, the infrared camera establishes a thermal map it to identify the distance of the various members of the players now, so if you move your hands to the device, they will be represented as warmer than your shoulders, allowing to KINECTS, using all the information it receives, to understand that your hands are stretched forward. KINECTS features a microphone array allowing the identification of the speaker and speech recognition in three languages at the moment, English, Japanese and Spanish. Finally KINECTS relies on a motorized foot in theory allowing to track the movements of a person.

KINECTS is presented by Microsoft as an entertainment experience and play without a controller, specifically, it is a device in the form of a horizontal bar, for the Xbox 360. It allows users to interact with the console through a simple interface controlled by gestures or voice commands. Introduced in the continuity of the dimension of the Xbox Media Center 360, KINECTS will be actively linked to the features already available on the console, namely the video on demand, video chatting and viewing of multimedia content in general. Imagine sitting on your sofa watching your movie, put the movie on hold by simply asking the console and two or three things to get in video chat with your colleague logged into Windows Live Messenger on their PC. Actually the possibilities portrayed by the promotional video are much more advanced, and such that trying to buy clothes online, for example (for those of interested, obviously). Furthermore unlike many other devices, KINECTS requires absolutely no calibration start, simply stand in front of the goal and it is instantly recognized and our movements are reproduced with a fidelity disconcerting by the device.

Microsoft, however, assured that KINECTS would not only casual and therefore gamers will also find their behalf. Found still some big licenses such as Metal Gear Solid Rising and many other games not announced who will benefit from capacity KINECTS to plunge even the most demanding of us in the heart of the game. If you are looking for more good information, I would suggest to check Xbox 360 Kinect .

Re: Specifications of Xbox 360 Kinect

Like any new concept in the video game world, KINECTS has many strengths and weaknesses :
    Strengths
    1. KINECTS innovates by bringing experience, certainly on the Wii but this limited way, to a whole new level by ignoring any controller.
    2. KINECTS requires no calibration and works well with most players.
    3. One accessory KINECTS is sufficient to play more, no need to buy an accessory for each player that represents a big saving.
    4. KINECTS works perfectly under conditions not conducive to the game (in the dark, with many coming and going around).
    5. KINECTS offer games that can satisfy many types of players, so all games will not be reserved for casual gamers.
    6. Using KINECTS be supported but not required for many games and will not be taxed KINECTS players preferring the game of the conventional way

    Weaknesses
    1. A fear exists that KINECTS become ultimately boring, a bit like the problem faced by the Wii now
    2. KINECTS requires a large enough free space to move and gesticulate (the loss of 1.80 m is recommended for a player and 2.50 m to several.)
    3. Although KINECTS records the movements without any latency, a slight latency (<1 s) can be observed. This is due to the way games are programmed to expect that a movement is fully completed before returning
    4. For non polyglot of us, the limitation (presumably temporary) voice recognition in English, Spanish and Japanese can be a disadvantage
