Sims 3 Outdoor Living save game download for pc, problem with reloading it

I have recently bought The Sims 3: Outdoor Living game and started playing it on my computer, note that I have 2 computer. I have completed most of the parts playing it on my first computer, after hours of playing it I would say, but now I want to play it on my other computer with the same progress that I have played till yet on my first computer. So I tried copying it from My documents folder from computer 1 to computer 2's hard drive but as soon as I start it on my second computer, there is no saved game data showing and I cant figure out how to play it with the same progress? Do we have to copy the save game file of Sims 3 Outdoor Living in some other folder or such. Thanks for any information.

I think that you have overwrited the save game file of Sims 3 Outdoor Living in some other folder or such in your second computer. So first off, you need to make sure that your saved game data are in folder called "my documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\" and recheck to see that if it is in the same folder or not or else create a new folder with the same path. Secondly, you have to got to use the same username, passwords and characters and such other things. Username folder might be in c:\documents and settings\(username)\ or some admin or something. Lastly copy the same save game file exactly in the same folder in your second computer and check whether you are able to play with the same level or not.

What I have heard is that you cant reload any of the save game file of Sims 3 on any of the computer beucase it uses an online data storage system that gets saved onto the EA servers or so. It could also happen when you try to overwrite the save file twice in one game. I think that EA people are not concerned about what if the game crashes and we have to reinstall the game and after that we cant do nothing but we have to play the game from the start, there needs to be a fix for the same.

EA has provided a solution to recover save files of Sims 3 Outdoor Living game. The save files are normally in my documents/electornics arts/the sims 3/saves and from their you can find your saved game's name with a .backup extension and sims extension. All you need to do is delete the sims extension named file and rename the .backup extension extension file to .sims3, thats it and incase if youu find any file that ends with .bad extension, delete it.
